Hotels | Commune by the Great Wall, China

"An exercise in cutting-edge modernism."

Having already seen the Great Pyramids in Egypt and India's utterly mesmerising Taj Mahal, it's about time I got to the Great Wall. Although just seeing the wall would be enough, staying at the Commune by the Great Wall would be incredible. Variously described as "an architectural museum, a design exhibition, an exercise in cutting-edge modernism — architourists travel from all over the world to walk its polished wood and stone halls and admire the work of two dozen of Asia’s leading architects". This is no overnight stopover - here, it is about "the Commune, the Wall, and the experience".

One of my top 5 places to travel to is the Great wall of china and this would be an incredible place to stay. How do you find these places? Honestly, you need to write a travel book. :)
