Retreats | Ceylon Tea Trails, Sri Lanka

"The island jewel of the Indian Ocean is the best place in the world from which to view the universe."

While watching Rick Stein's South East Asian odyssey the other night, I remembered why Sri Lanka's been at the top of my 'Countries to Visit' list for awhile now - it must be one of the most beautiful places in the world. This tear-shaped island is a land of sandy white beaches, lush jungle and - of course - fields upon fields of tea. The delightfully colonial Ceylon Tea Trails sits at the heart of Sri Lanka's tea country, and tours of the nearby tea fields can be arranged... Late morning, after you've been served tea and breakfast in bed, naturally.
