Perhaps because it's summertime, I currently find myself drawn to hotels and resorts at the beach or in the countryside rather than in the city. I love a good city escape  but at the moment, all I want to do is curl up in the sunshine with a good book, with nothing but the sounds of insects or the sea to interrupt me. And I can't imagine anywhere better to engage in such deliciously lazy behaviour as La Suite Hotel & Spa Procida  on the island of Procida in Italy's Campania region, which combines the best of beach and countryside.  Set amidst five thousand square meters of private garden (five thousand!) - and just a hop, skip and a jump from the beach made famous by Il Postino - the contemporary forms of this surprisingly urban hotel were clearly designed with relaxtion in mind.
