Retreats | Sextantio Albergo Diffuso, Italy

"A place for people with a strong sense of adventure, a passion for history and authenticity and a thirst for new experiences."

Daniele Kihlgren is creating magic in Italy.  On an abandonned hilltop town in the Appennines, the Swedish-Italian entrepreneur bought and restored a series of buildings throughout the village. Unlike a traditional hotel, where the rooms are located in one building, the twenty-seven guestrooms of Sextantio Albergo Diffuso are scattered throughout the  cobblestone streets of Santo Stefano. Each room harks back to a different time - encouraging its guests to celebrate simple pleasures and adopt a slower pace. And in the evenings, when the hotel's restaurant beckons, you will be guided not by street signs, but by the candles that line the streets...
